Rodri Named Champions League Player of The Year

LONDON: Manchester City midfielder Rodri has been named the Champions League Player of the Year for the 2022-23 campaign.

The 26-year-old scored the winning goal for Manchester City as they beat Inter Milan 1-0 to reach the Champions League for the first time.

Rodri has only been left out of one Champions League game this season and has managed to score two goals.

His great performances in the finals also allowed him to be named Player of the Match.

Napoli striker Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was voted the Champions League Young Player of the Year.

The 22-year-old player won the Serie A title and also won the Serie A Player of the Year title.
